The Old House, 2017
'The Old House' is made of three structures made from cement with a rusty sheet of galvanise pressed into it from the top. Quotes from my mother, father and brother are handwritten on masking tape placed at each sculpture. It is about the relationship my family have with a whitewashed house we call The Old House.
Cow Pen, 2018
'Cow Pen' is a Video Installation. 3 monitors are bedded in straw. An iPhone and 2 iPads play 3 different films about details from the farms. Calves playing in straw, a human becoming the cow for the day and a cow giving birth all play at the same time.
Hear the Hunger, 2018
'Hear the Hunger' is made of balls of net wrap intertwined with scraps of hay, silage or straw. It is a response to the fodder crisis that is dominated Ireland. The net wrap signifies the emptiness. It highlights the lack of fodder as it is all that remains. Inside was a speaker, relaying sounds from the farm recorded during the "hungry month".
